Recommendations Stage 1

Recommendations from the Independent Commissioners on submissions to the Stage 1 provisions of the Proposed District Plan are now available to view.

Please bear in mind the following in relation to these recommendation reports and plan provisions:

  1. They are not the Council’s decisions on submissions and are provided for information only.
  2. They do not have any legal status, implications for resource consent applications, or any bearing on enforcement actions at this time.
  3. They should not be considered a final or complete set of recommendations. For instance, the planning maps that accompany the recommendations are not currently available to view.
  4. They will be presented to an upcoming meeting of Council for a formal decision that will have legal effect once those decisions are published.
  5. No correspondence about the recommendations will be entered into with the Hearings Panel or Council officials regarding this material.
