Four of the camping grounds owned by QLDC are now being managed by a local consortium, CCR Ltd. The management agreement relates to Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park, Wanaka Lakeview Holiday Park, Arrowtown Holiday Park and Glendhu Bay Lakeside Holiday Park.

The agreement, signed on 25 October, provides that CCR Ltd will operate the holiday parks on behalf of QLDC, which retains ownership of the assets. Some QLDC staff who were employed in the holiday parks were transferred to CCR’s employment as of 1 November.

All bookings for accommodation at the holiday parks will still be made directly with each facility.
