Mayor Signs White Ribbon Pledge

Photo Caption: In conjunction with today’s national launch of the White Ribbon campaign in Auckland, Mayor Vanessa van Uden has signed a pledge, joining Mayors from throughout New Zealand, to ‘ never commit, condone or remain silent about violence towards women’.  Mayor van Uden will also take part in the ‘Ride for White Ribbon’ with the motorcycle rally due to arrive at Earnslaw Park, Queenstown at 1pm on Tuesday 20 November, 2012.
