- Jul 3, 2018
Queenstown Lakes District Council has published an updated Code of Practice for Land Development and Subdivisions.
Adopted by the full Council at its May 2018 meeting, the code provides guidelines to ensure land development and subdivision infrastructure is designed and constructed using best practice.
QLDC Acting Asset Planning Manager, Polly Lambert said the new code reflected local working knowledge and practical issues encountered in the district.
“We’ve worked with technical experts, our maintenance contractors and the development community to inform changes to the code to ensure land development and subdivision infrastructure is built to an appropriate standard,” she said.
The new code of practice and related documents can be found on the QLDC website: https://www.qldc.govt.nz/planning/resource-consents/land-developments-and-subdivisions/
