Wanaka Lakefront Drop-in Sessions

Date:
Jan 15, 2016

QLDC will be holding three drop-in sessions for members of the public to come and discuss the Draft Wanaka Lakefront Development Plan. Feedback on the lakefront development plan opened in December and includes options for alternative carparking layouts, improved pedestrian and cycle ways, increased green space, new boating facilities and a potential events space.

The drop-in sessions will be held in the Wanaka Library and give anyone interested a chance to view and discuss the plans with staff and Wanaka Community Board members.

Drop-in sessions will be held at the Wanaka Library on the following dates:
Session 1:  Tuesday 19 January from 2 – 4pm
Session 2:  Tuesday 2 February from 10.30am – 1pm
Session 3:  Thursday 11 February from 4pm – 6.30pm

The Draft Wanaka Lakefront Development Plan can be viewed online, at the Wanaka Library or at the Wanaka QLDC office at 47 Ardmore Street. Feedback can be given via the online form at: http://www.qldc.govt.nz/wanaka-lakefront-development-plan. The closing date for feedback has been extended to 14 March 2016.
