Arrowtown residents, we'd appreciate your help over the next few days by watering your lawn at night.

One of the three tanks at the reservoir is being repaired. In order to meet the increased demand for water during this hot weather, we're asking residents and holiday makers to irrigate in the evenings when other demand is at its lowest.

It's also more efficient to water at night, as the evaporation rate is lowest.
