The Gorge Road Carpark, next to Queenstown Industrial Place, will be sealed and marked to ensure the optimal use of space.

Contractors are programmed to start back on Monday (28 August) to complete the construction and sealing, initially commenced prior to winter.

The area needs to be effectively closed for two weeks, but through access will be maintained, except on the day of final sealing.

Advisory signs were erected on site today and a windscreen flyer drop will be undertaken tomorrow requiring that vehicles be removed, prior to Monday.

Once sealed and marked the carpark will be able to cater for 100 parks.
