Rabbit Control  - Pindone Operation  -  Lake Hayes:

Otago Regional Services will be carrying out a pindone operation in and around the Lake Hayes Track from Tuesday 27^th August till 30^th August (Weather Dependant).  Warning signs will be erected around the control area. 

 

The public should note the following points:

• Do keep your dog on a leach at all times if in the Lake Hayes Area or using the track.
• Do consider exercising your dog elsewhere if possible.
• Do not handle or remove any carcasses of baits.
• Do not allow children to wander unsupervised in this area.

Signs will remain in place until the area is safe.
